Per-call cost

What does 1 credit actually buy you?

Every endpoint has a transparent credit cost based on what it actually takes to get the job done. No hidden multipliers. No "premium AI" fees. The hard work (residential proxies and AI extraction) costs more because it costs more to provide. That's it.

Failed requests cost 0. If we can't get the data (blocked, timed out, target down) we don't bill. Your scrape attempts are free; only your scrape successes count.

Residential is the flat US rate. Non-US residential (set a non-US proxy_country) is metered: an extra 10 credits per MB of response over the first 1 MB, on top of the base. The exact charge is returned in the Ujb-credits response header.

FAQ

Things people actually ask.

Every endpoint draws from one pool. A static fetch is 1 credit, JS rendering is 5, residential proxies 15. Article extract is 5 credits (Markdown wraps it and bills the same). SERP queries 15, ChatGPT and Gemini 25 each. You see the exact cost on every response in credits_used, with no surprises.
Yes. On the Scrape endpoint, the proxy_type flag is the main lever: js=0 + proxy_type=datacenter is 1 credit, js=1 bumps to 5, proxy_type=premium or residential is 15. Start with the cheapest tier and only escalate if a target needs it. Or set proxy_type=auto and we try cheap first, only billing the tier that returned 200.
If we don't return data, we don't bill. Failed fetches, blocked requests, timeouts, all free. We only burn credits when something useful comes back. This is the opposite of how everyone else prices.
Sign up and you get a one-time 5,000 credits to spend over a 14-day trial, no card required. Full API access on every endpoint during the trial, same as a paid plan. After 14 days (or when you've spent the 5,000), pick a plan to keep going. Top-ups also work during the trial if you need a bit more without subscribing yet.
On paid plans, unused monthly credits roll over for one billing cycle. The 5,000 trial credits are one-time and do not roll over.
Yes. Top-up packs are a separate, manual purchase, available on every plan including the trial. Packs start at 50K credits for $10 ($0.20 / 1K) and scale down to $0.08 / 1K at 5M. Custom amounts use a tiered ladder between those endpoints. Top-up credits expire 30 days after purchase. The full pack ladder lives under the comparison table above.
Yes. Monthly plans cancel monthly, annual plans cancel at renewal. No long-term lock-in.
Overage is the cheap auto-extend that kicks in only on paid plans: once your monthly credits hit zero, calls keep working and any extra usage is billed at your plan's per-credit rate. Rates: $0.13 / 1K on Starter, $0.10 / 1K on Growth, $0.08 / 1K on Pro, $0.065 / 1K on Business. Trial users don't have overage - only top-up packs.
Yes. Overage is capped at $500 per billing cycle across all your keys. Once the cap is reached, requests start returning 402 until the next renewal (or until you upgrade / top up). If you want zero-risk billing, set a per-key hard cap in the dashboard so requests 402 the moment you hit it - no automatic charges at all.
Overage credits are tallied during the cycle and invoiced at cycle close (the same Stripe charge as your subscription renewal). You'll see them itemised on the invoice. Top-ups, in contrast, are charged immediately at purchase.
Overage is cheaper per credit but only available on paid plans, only kicks in after your monthly credits hit zero, and is capped at $500 / cycle. Top-ups are slightly more expensive per credit but they're available on every plan (including trial), can be bought proactively, and have their own 30-day expiry. Rule of thumb: if you're a paid-plan user with predictable bursts past your quota, let overage handle it. If you want guaranteed availability for a planned spike or you're on the trial, top up before you start.
Yes. 10% off when you pay annually, available on Starter, Growth, and Pro. Toggle "Yearly" above to see the discounted rate.
